Konnichiwa - Charlotte: Discover Hidden Sushi Gem in Dilworth

This is a hidden gem in Charlotte. Although technically in Dilworth, it’s close to South End and it’s the best sushi I’ve had in Charlotte so far. Somehow it’s never packed and you can walk right in on a Saturday night with no wait, which is shocking considering how good the food is. We got the crispy rice with spicy tuna, hadouken roll, edamame, and chicken/shrimp hibachi and everything was amazing. Very fast and great service as well. Highly recommend this spot if you are looking for good sushi in Charlotte!

Love this place! Staff was pleasant and attentive, food was so yummy!!! Crab rangoon and dynamite shrimp were great! All the hibachi bowls with yum yum sauce incredible also. Will definitely be returning.

Menu is a little too extensive and yet somehow leaves something to be desired. Not as many clean/light items. If you love your sauces, tempura seafood, cream cheese, and fried or baked rolls, then this is a great spot for that!

First off I first experienced this place in Florence sc where I grew up. I wish the consistency was the same in Charlotte location. The sweet carrot are not sweet and they barely gave rice and the broccoli was tough. Their rice is really good though and portion of veggies was good.

Overall it was okay! Great vibe and location. Love Dilworth and there is always something to do around the area or very near! Super cute restaurant and great service Free parking deck..it's limited parking but depending on what time you go it's not too bad. The crab Rangoon was delicious and highly recommend. Overall sushi was average. I got a shrimp tempura sushi roll and it taste kinda fishy so I did not enjoy that. I would recommend giving it a go if you willing to try more things on the menu although I think there are better sushi locations in Charlotte

Very good experience with recent dinner and surroundings were quiet enough that I could actually enjoy a good dinner and conversation. My son chooses saki and appetizers and specials and eats it all every single time! I love the bento box and Hibachi choices. According to my wife these are certainly the finest crab ragoons you can get anywhere! Park in the deck attached to the back of restaurant... free parking (that just hardly exists in the area anymore)

Nice atmosphere, very good service. The food was very good, we ordered a spicy tuna to start as a appetizer, and it was delicious, for main dish my wife ordered a Tonkotsu Ramen and I a had a Chicken Katsu Bowl both were outstanding and a very good amount of food, definitely will be back. There is covered parking and street parking available.

Fabulous quality fish in the sushi! The rolls were beautifully presented. The specials were the Ring of Fire, the Hayabusa, and the Katana - and they were all excellent. Highly recommended!
